Blue Movement

Performers: Eva Urbanová

A unique movement performance led by dancer and choreographer Eva Urbanová focuses on slowing down in the hustle and bustle of a city centre full of by trams, cars and tourists. The slowed down movements of the three dancers seem to slow down the surrounding hustle and bustle, making passers-by aware of their own steps and making the sensations of the whole body present.

The performance naturally follows the meditation space in the tower of Kunsthalle Praha, where the architectural and artistic duo Schwestern created the installation Rozhledna*. The three highest windows in the former transformer station building offer a view of three dancers in deep blue, facing the three points of the compass.
