Bread & Dance Prague 2024

A joint project of leading Czech contemporary dance and physical theatre companies 420PEOPLE, Burkicom, Dekkadancers, Farma v jeskyni and Lenka Vagnerová & Company. Five contemporary dance and physical theatre companies have come together to present and open up the topic of the long-term status, sustainability, collaboration and development of contemporary dance and physical theatre in an international context. Through openness, current work, workshops with choreographers and discussions within international networking.

**Showcase** – *9 performances / 8 choreographers / 5 companies.* Showcase of contemporary dance and physical theatre. Current performances by 420PEOPLE, Burkicom Dekkadancers, Farma v jeskyni and Lenka Vagnerová & Company.

**International Dancers Exchange** – On 2–4 November 2024, the participants of the exchange will go through three-hour blocks of introduction workshops with leading Czech choreographers. They will get to know their way of working in person, work together on a specific assignment and get direct feedback from the choreographers in the final Apres Ski (breakfast with the choreographers). Intended only for professional dancers, graduates or students of dance schools from 16 years of age selected on the basis of a submitted CV and a video with a movement demonstration.

**Networking base** – Networking programme for the development of creation, cooperation and international opportunities with the participation of leading companies and promoters from other European countries. Lectures, discussions, case studies, open workshops.
