Description

The production platform ProFitArt announces an open call for artists or theatre companies of physical and dance theatre.

Apply if you have a miniature (10 minutes) of physical or dance theatre genre in your repertoire and if you are interested in collaborating with an experienced production platform on a production with financial and production background in the future.

From the entries we will select 4-5 projects to be presented by the artists at the public evening of miniatures Essence of Movement at Venuše ve Švehlovce Theatre on Monday 24 March at 20:00. From these we will then select a piece to be produced in 2026. The open call is open to emerging and established artists. The production platform ProFitArt is thus a continuation of the Essence of Dance miniatures evenings, which were the basis for the award-winning BOI production by Martin Talaga or the choreographic debut of Alexander Volný and Lukáš Lepold Fillet of Soul.

To apply, please send an email to info@profitart.cz:
Concept / description of the project
- CV of the artist / ensemble
- You can also send photo or video material from rehearsals

The deadline for applications is 28 February. We will publish the selection of miniatures by March 10.
All miniatures should be technically adaptable.

The final selection will be made by Czech theatre personalities who are also tribal collaborators of the ProFitArt platform:
