Koluchová Sara

Sara Koluchova is based in Essen, Germany. She graduated in 2017 the six year study program in dance theater at the Duncan Centre Conservatory Prague, within the studies she participated in an exchange program at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne (Germany). 

Currently she is finishing the Master of Arts in Dance Composition - Interpretation at the Folkwang University of Arts (Essen, Germany) as well as completing the trainer certification in the somatic method GYROKINESIS®.

As a dancer and assistant she participated in several international projects in Belgium, Netherlands, China, Germany, Czechia. She collaborated with choreographers such as: Michal Záhora, Henrietta Horn, Urs Dietrich, Ivan Strelkin, Olga Zitluhina, Sylvia Lewandovska, Ben J. Riepe and others. 

In cooperation with Theater Filidonia she co-created interdisciplinary improvisational performances in unconventional, site specific places in the Ruhr area. 

Sara Koluchova is also involved in community dance and work with children (Rich / Poor - Nachbarscheftsheim Wuppertal - children's performance). 

Her own creations include the choreographies “Mirror, Mirror” (Duncan Center 2017), Icing on the Cake (Schritt_macher Festival, Aachen 2019), Dyadic (Junge Choreographen, Essen 2019) as well as short dance videos “6. solos feat. Tchaikovsky” (2020) and “Among many things” (2021) created and streamed at La danza in un minuto - SOLOCOREOGRAFICO Solo Dance Festival 2021.
