Performance description
*Žaneta Musilová: *M.amor** \
Žaneta Musilová's performance on the topic of narrative in dance is loosely inspired by Zeyer's story of Radúz and Mahulena, it explores manifestations of love and its various forms. Our mothers have already read us plenty of fairy tales about princesses, princes, and happy endings. Our mothers read them to their mothers, our grandmothers, and their mothers before them.
And what role do mothers of princes and princesses hold in fairy tales? And what role do they hold in the stories? A mother's love is one of the strongest bonds. A mother protects, a mother defends, a mother worries, a mother owns, a mother gives, a mother takes, a mother loves, a mother is black, a mother is white, the mother is Runa, the mother is Nyola.
The performance was created with the grant support of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague as part of an inter-faculty competition of artistic collaborations.
